Dancing with the Fed's!

Post by SigOperator02 »

Last Saturday night, I attended my childhood friend Ethan's 27th birthday in Aggieland. For his birthday, I got him a Sig P226R .40 cal for his present. He came around to the the "Gunside." Not to long after I gave him his gift, he introduced me to his beautiful red headed cousin named Rachael. Now, I will not lie about it but I'm a sucker for red heads. We started talking and come to find out that we have a lot in common and that we have the same birthday. About another hour and half of getting to know each other and chugging a case of DrPepper's, I finally got the courage to ask her to dance. For some reason, I did not think about the fact that I was carrying my gun. I always get nervous with getting close to the ladies because not all women understand the concept behind carrying. She put her hand just right above where I had my gun holstered. I pretty sure that when we were two-stepin', she hit her hand on my gun because she gave me a look like she was trying to figure out what I had there. Then she came in close and I was able to wrap my hands around her waist and that is when it happened. I could make out the frame of a semi auto pistol tucked in a Crossbreed holster. Once I gave her a "Deer in the headlights" look, she knew that I was on to her and pull away. She asked me if I had my license to which I quickly replied "What about you?" She then produced a badge with identification to a three letter govenment agency. I then showed her my license because I did not want to get taken down by a Special Agent at my buddy's birthday. After that, she smiled and aksed me what I was carrying and we went to another room to display our firearms. She was carrying a standard issue Glock 22 and I was carrying my usual Sig P220. Needless to say, know I understand why she was not drinking with everyone else and chugging DrPepper's with me because we were carrying. The night got even better and now I am taking her to her first Aggie footbal game this Saturday.

After reading the title, I was worried the contents of your post would be of a more negative nature.
Extremely happy to be proven wrong. Congrats! :tiphat:

That's just awesome! And I think she can even carry at the game.

OK that seriously reads like a scene out of a movie .... what was that Elmore Leonard book they made into a movie with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez? Or maybe even "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". And pretty sure I've seen something similar in one of the James Bond movies.

Anyway, great story. Thanks for sharing.

Well, here's hoping for at least ONE Aggie touchdown. Gotta show her that traditional touchdown celebration.

The one person that posts something negative and he just happens to live steerville! No, it was not from a movie and I have seen the badge she carries on my Uncle, who happens to work for the that three letter agency as well. I think it was very cool of how the way she handled it. If it was from a movie, she would have dropped me to the floor with her gov issue Glock to the back of my head and start reading my Miranda Rights. She is really for gun owners rights and she is even going to get her CHL, even though she does not have too because believes in the program. As for the Aggie Touchdown tradition, I hope we crush SFA with six touchdowns! No, none of use will be carrying cause there will be alcohol after the game! Win or lose! For once in my life, I think life might be looking up!

I am starting to turn green with all these "I met a gun-toting woman" threads popping up this morning!
