My off the top of my head review is that this series is going to show a little more class than I figured. I decided to watch while handing out treats to the neighborhood ghoulies and was not dissappointed. It has a multi-level storyline, a little mystery as to how the plague came about and how everyone was affected. It combines action, of course, some drama, romance, a little comedy and compassion. I was also impressed that it is not just a shoot-em up and there was a moment there offering a discussion of firearms safety as they were trying to determine if a young boy was capable of handling the zombies with his own firearm.
I hope this takes off, at least for a season or two.
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...

Sounds like they stayed very true to the source material then...the comic book had a lot of different elements to it.

I'm about to watch it. :coolgleamA:

DVR'd it also.

Was able to watch it the other day. Very good pilot.

Looks like it has a lot of potential. Never read the comics, might start looking around for them.

just found this:

Based on the comic, so there may be spoilers. I only looked at a few pages so far, seems kinda slow.

Yeah. Its based on the 2008 elections.

"rlol"

Watched it myself this weekend. Got the DVR set to record tonight. So far, so good.

I've got to say, lately the best shows are coming from cable.
Network TV seems to have gone all reality on us. I'm so sick of dancing with the idol survivors of jersey shore. Blech.

Check your DVR programming. Walking Dead returns Sunday night.
