Sub-Forum: Crime Topic?
I wonder if the mods should create a new sub-forum for crime related stories? I see them posted in Off-Topic and sometimes in Never Again. But there are enough of them - usually at least one per day - that I wonder if the forum would be better served if there was a defined location for them?
Could be called 'The Blotter' - like the newspapers.

If you wanted to keep it specifically to crime-related articles, I'd recommend The Crime Blotter. Then news articles about other stuff like politics and law wouldn't look like they belong there.

I like 'Crime Blotter' - that works. I'm going to bump this post.
There have been a tremendous number of these reports lately. I am very glad they are posted. It gives each of us a chance to try to 'put ourselves' into those situations - increasing our awareness and potentially sharpening our responses.
But I really think the mods or board administrators should consider creating a 'home' for these type of posts. They are in:
Off-Topic
General Gun, Shooting & Equipment Discussion
Never Again!!
General Texas CHL Discussion

they're all legal. subforum closed.pbwalker wrote:How about a "Is this sign legal?" subforum? hahahaha! j/k!
"is this sign valid and enforceable?" subforum might be more appropriate

Don't they cover that in the class?
Oh, yeah, apparently not, based on what we've been told.

Re: Sub-Forum: Crime Topic?
I was going to create a "FAQ" thread on that, but then realized it would link to approximately one-half of the 35,551 (currently) threads on the forum....austinrealtor wrote:
