WI: Citizen arrest of suspected bar shooter

Post by seamusTX »

In Sheboygan, Wisconsin (say that ten times fast), Thursday a man allegedly walked up to another man in a bar and got into an argument. Then man #1 fatally shot man #2 according to witnesses. The witnesses "subdued" the alleged shooter, who has been charged with homicide.

By the looks of him the bystanders did more than simply "subdue" him

That's why I put "subdue" in quotation marks.

This case wasn't too bad. I have logged a few where the "subdued" "suspect" had to be taken to the hospital, stitched up and casted—and these were not in any sense lynchings.

When you think about the circumstances, this is pretty remarkable when people don't just run around like the famous painting "Scream" and do nothing useful.
