CHL holder that was attacked in her Bedroom
All, I am tying to find the post that had a link to the story about the woman who was attacked in her bedroom while sleeping, she ended up getting to her purse where her guns was and shooting the perps. I believe it even said he was a NRA instructor or something, anyhow, I can't find it and would desperately like to forward it to my daughter to try to convince her to carry. Thanks

Can't help you with the story, but from my personal experience, trying to frighten someone into carrying by telling stories of other people doesn't help.Weg wrote:All, I am tying to find the post that had a link to the story about the woman who was attacked in her bedroom while sleeping, she ended up getting to her purse where her guns was and shooting the perps. I know you're not trying to scare her. I wasn't either. But in my case at least, the "bad things can happen so you need to be prepared" didn't work. At this point, I'm just hoping she'll reach the decision in her own way some day.
Everyone always thinks "it can't happen to ME!" until it does. Just human nature I guess.
Instead, maybe let her snoop around this site: http://corneredcat.com/
Maybe reading a womans perspective on it will help your daughter with her decision.
