I carry a 1911 on my person when I do carry, and a Sig in my car.

I would say the XD owners might as well vote in the "Glock" column

I carry what's appropriate for the "mission" usually a DA/SA or DAO auto. The 1911 and revolvers get the nod from time to time. I don't think the brand of gun is as important as the action type.

I do own and carry an XD 9mm Service model from time to time.

I don't own a 1911, but it takes a brave man to say that DA/SA or DAO is the way to go over SA

I generally carry my USP45 cocked and locked (SA), but it is nice that the gun has DA in case I ever find myself hammer down by some stroke of misfortune. It does take some practice operating the safety, but I'm at the point where I don't even think about turning the safety off when I draw.

I carry a Glock 36 (slim compact .45). I have a Colt 1911A1 SS Series 70 replica and have tried to carry it but it jabs me in the side (fat) so much that it is too uncomforable. I need to try a different holster for the Colt.

I chose "other" since the poll only allows one choice. I rotate a few different guns. 1911, Sig, XD, Glock. I also occasionally carry a SW 38 snub or an NAA Gaurdian in my pocket.

Carry a SA Micro-Compact as my CCW and normally a SA XD-9 SC in the truck.

I just traded for a Glock G-26 (9mm). Thats what I'm carrying the most these days.

I still carry the Kahr PM9 when I need to be in Church type clothes.

I used to carry the Glock G-30 (.45) all the time. It just seemed to get heavier and heavier as time passed.

Primarily a 1911.

Secondarily an XD9.

As a backup or at those times when I can't carry a gun, a .32NAA Guardian.

Kimber Ultra Carry II. Although, sometimes I'll tote a stainless Taurus 85. Usually carry the Taurus when I am gogin up to the lake for boating or fishing.
