Prayers for a job!

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers for a job!

Post by gregthehand »

I got laid off about three weeks ago and have been looking for a job. I have an interview with the Boy Scouts of America tomorrow. I am extremely interested in this job and really hope I get it. I know it's a little bit different then what I was doing before but I really feel called to this job. I have been in the process of starting scouting in my community so I was familiar with the people in professional scouting at the council level. Also I was in Scouting from six to eighteen.

The pay is decent and I know I'll LOVE the job. To me that's important right now than money. I want to do something that will have a lasting impression and not just a huge paycheck.

Everyone pray I get it please!!! :patriot:

From here too. The boys need a mentor that shows them it is manly to pray.

Ok the interview went well and I'm guessing that I'm on my way. I have to get them my transcripts from college and Wednesday they asked if I could ride along with the district director I would be working for in order to learn more about what it is I would be doing. I guess that's a good thing that they want my transcripts and want me to come ride along on and interact with people already on Wednesday. Prayers are still welcome of course until they tell me I'm hired!

I'll be sure to send a "knee mail" to the big for you.

I had an interview Friday for what would be a very good job that I'm very qualified for. Requesting prayers for a positive outcome and me being hired. :tiphat:

I forgot to add. The professional scouting didn't work becuase they only wanted someone who spoke spanish. They didn't mention that at all until the second interview....
