Anyone get this notice?

Posted this in the waiting room but haven't got much of a response. Has anyone seen this notice? It has said this since I did the online application. I was emailed a receipt and barcode so the application certainly went in. I've taken the class and USPS shows delivered of all the paperwork. I'm getting worried since the only response I've had from anyone is that no one has seen or heard of this notice. Granted it has only been 2 weeks since I mailed everything in so I assumed that this was the "waiting" period for status update. Any ideas...I'm starting to get worried I'm out $140. Background is immaculate BTW and there isn't anything that I'm aware of that would DQ me.

Why don't you try phoning them and asking? I believe there is a number in the CHL section of the DPS site that you can call for information of your status.

It might just be that your info hasn't been entered into
their system yet since it's only been 2 weeks...Just a guess.

I would follow The Annoyed Man's advice and call.

I've seen that message before and was issued my license so don't worry. Like the other posters suggested ya should call or email um to get a peace of mind.

I saw this notice during the time period: Online application submitted and packet mailed (with post office confirmation of delivery), but not entered by DPS. Took 8 days in my case. phone number is 512-424-7293 Good luck.

Thank you so much. I'm retreating from panic mode. I figured that was normal but wanted to print another copy of my receipt and figured I should able to do that at least.
On another note I don't know why I get so panicky when I have to submit to a background check. Due to my dad, a few friends jobs and some of my own work I've been checked by dod, FBI,batfe, secret service and probably a few I don't even know about. I seem to have a deep seated mistrust of any contact with people who can make life difficult no reason for it though

Update: Reply to my email states that my application has not been entered into the system yet. Given what the other posters have said I'm gathering that this is the standard "hurry up and wait" message now. I'll update again when it changes. Thanks all for the replys.

Update: A few days ago I could no longer login at all. Tried to login too many times and got put on a 24hr ban. Waited painfully for the 24 hrs and lo and behold my status is up and things are proceeding normally. All appears to be well.
