I don't like it. The reporter and the city official(s) who gave out the info are pretty cavalier with others' security.

No kidding. The rest of their lives may be more public than mos, but something like this needs to be kept private. I wonder how the paper obtained the information. It sounds a little bit like the lawyer may have volunteered the information. I don't know what the laws in NY are regarding access to this information, but it sounds like it needs changing.

Did y'all catch the first line of the article? That's the most condescending, offensive, and arrogant 4-word sentence I've ever read in a gun-related article from a major news outlet.

How do we know that these very important people won't "snap"? That they won't do something wrong with their guns? That their guns won't just "go off" sometime? That's what will happen if "regular" people have guns, after all - but nooooo, not the high and mighty. They can be described very simply as:

"Armed, but not dangerous."

Thanks a bunch, you elitist stuck-up blowhards. :mad5 :mad5 :mad5
"I don't know how that would ever be useful, but I want two!"

Springs are cheap - your gun and your life aren't.
