Bullet Trapp in Plano

Post by HarleyDave »

The wife and me took the all in one day class at the Bullet Trapp in Plano yesterday 10/8/10 and thankfully both passed but just want to shout :clapping: out a word about how great-full we were to Dave our instructor. Being for a extremely long day, Dave did a fantastic job throughout the day in keeping us all interested and awake through the many hours and was extremely informative and taught many interesting facts and thoughts that made us think throughout the long day. I know that there have been comments about the Bullet Trapp from time to time but I'm here to stand up for them in the fact they've been extremely friendly, knowledgeable and now that we've taken the CHL class with Dave the wife and me highly recommend the store to anyone. Great range, great selection and great people. :clapping: :clapping: :thewave Now the wait for our plastic and infamous Wally walk :anamatedbanana

I don't use the range there, so I can't say much about any other experiences about the Bullet Trap. Well, I did get both of my Glocks from them. Very easy, no problems at all.

However, I have done both of my classes there and Dave, or one of them, has done at least one of them. I thought the classes were thorough and well done. My next class will be interesting now since I've discovered this forum.

I took my first CHL class in the mid 90's and all renewals since then at Bullet Trap. Their teaching and professionalism gets an A+ from me. However, their lack of service for customers in the retail area leaves a bit to be desired.

AggieDad, I do agree somewhat on the customer service issue. We are in there several times per week so they sort of know us, not by name or anything like that, but see us around so when they see us it seems I do get better customer service. I've bought 3 of my pistols there and great price, service, and checkout very smooth, even though crowded so I can't complain, plus yes Dave does a great job teaching the all in one class. Like he says "Dave is your brain" during the shoot and worked out well. Glad though that the class is over but could do the shoot again, again, and then again. :clapping:
