Plastic in the mail

Post by longtooth »

Took renewal 8-12, mailed 8-14.
Fingerprint cards returned 9-21 w/ "Processing Application" still on the web site. Nothing about a return. Reprinted & mailed 9-23.
Received plastic in the mail today 10-12 & website still says "Processing Application."
Good turn around. Will stop in again to encourage you new guys.
REMEMBER renew early.

Congrats on getting the renewal, Longtooth.

Best wishes also for a long and healthy carry with no need to do more than that...

Awesome! I know this takes a bit of stress off of your shoulders! Good to see you are alright for another five years. Take care.

Congrats longtooth. That was super fast once they got your second FP card back. I figure they received your FP card around 9/26/06, and you got your plastic on 10/12/06. Discounting weekends and one holiday thats like 12 days for your card to go to FBI Ident. Div, FP card searched, results returned to DPS and card received by you. Thats good.

Very good. After getting my plastic I could not believe they accepted the picture. Especially after denying the prints. I wore a White polo shirt that day & had a very light tan backdrop. Never do that again. The picture is bad by any standard. You cannot see a shirt & shoulder outline at all. My grey beard blends my jaw outline into the backdrop.
I may have dodged a bullet on the pic.
