I tried. It looked just like that: open braket, youtube, close bracket, address, open bracket, slash, youtube, close bracket. And it didn't come out that way in the message when posted.terryg wrote:Embedded:

You have to take the "www." out of the URL. If you had put it this way:mgood wrote:I tried. Code: Select all

It's "tea bagging", and you'll have to look up the meaning...gemini wrote:Nice video. I had no idea that I knew nothing about the Boston Tea Party. Or, that I am a "tea banging Redneck".
I would probably be described more accurately as a iced tea drinking Redneck. I'm not sure what tea banging is.....
maybe it's another weird thing they do in California? Is tea banging an individual activity or are there actually
tea banging gangs?
Anyway, I liked the song.
Thanks. The Annoyed Man wrote:You have to take the "www." out of the URL. If you had put it this way:between the youtube tags, you would have successfully embedded the video.Code: Select all

But I did not know about using the code tag to quote code. I sent him a PM and used {} instead of []. That's good to know! The Annoyed Man wrote:mgood wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIPoPw9zgvQ![]()

I hope your joking, because Janeane Garofalo was certainly not. She would never admit defeat - at least not intentionally.Fangs wrote:I took it as a joke... Tea Bagging is what's done in online videogames when you pwn the n00bz. I thought she was just preemptively admitting defeat. I light of yesterday, I think she was right.
I'd post a link to some animated .gifs, but I'm pretty sure it'd be inappropriate.

Oh yeah, I get it now. You said 'I took it as a joke' - not 'I think she meant it is a joke'.Fangs wrote:You hope my joking's what? Oh, wait, you're not joking.![]()
Of course she wasn't talking about videogames, since it's obviously meant as an insult. Did anyone here seriously expect anything better from her? I've never felt the need to get emotional over what some idiot says. If I can find humor in it that makes her sound even dumber than she is for my entertainment, then why not?
Guess some of it's lost in translation.
