Buffalo Wild Wings in Tomball

I saw this sign in Tomball today (11/7/2010) while walking in for lunch. I do not have my CHL yet, waiting on the folks in Austin to process application, but I would walk right by this sign and try to laugh! Why would they even bother with posting a sign like this? Has anyone seen these at any of Buffalo Wild Wings locations?

I have never seen a sign like this. If I did, I would at least chuckle.

That's a generic company sign. I remember seeing one identical to that in Virginia last year. I see no need to correct their mistake of validity here in Texas.

More importantly, how were the wings?

Yeah, just smile on your way past that sign...It's only there to keep the bad guys out. ;-)

I have seen this. I think it is also at the 2920 location in Spring if I remember correctly.

I have seen that sign on every BWW I have gone to.

Sent them a CHL card, never got a response.

If it's not a 30.06 then it hasn't anything to do with a CHL, but there are some CHLs who find these signs so offensive that they must indeed point out their mistake so the company can put up an appropriate 30.06 sign that will keep us all out. That is why I consider my political affiliation to be "logical realist".

Yes, our local BWW also has this sign. Every time we go there (which isn't often), we always carry.
I need to print out those no guns = no money cards to carry around.

Non-compliant signs are not about us, they are about non-CHLs. It might as well be an "unlicensed possession..." sign. Now I say break out the card for business that post 30.06.

I prefer Wings N More, but I will go into Buffalo Wild Wings just for an order of chips.

:iagree: And only for those posting 30.06 signs.

Don't bring non-compliant signs to the attention of the business owner

They are not compliant signs but they lend weight to criminal trespass if BWW says leave because someone notices the firearm and you aren't quick enough. :banghead:
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

If a business decides to give verbal notice, a non-compliant sign won't make a difference either way.
