I'm looking into getting a BUIS for my P556 so I don't have to use the flip up popsicle and was wonderinf if anyone has experiance with the Sig 556 line of rifles.
I know I can get the itac/sig diopter for ~180ish, but that seems like an awful lot for what it is. Or replace the front and rear with Samson or the like, and it be around 200.
Any Picatinny compatible sights should work. Just remember to get the handguard mount front sight, not the gas block mount. As far as price, $200.00 is not out of the ball park for a good set of sights. Your choices are:
Plastic, like Mag-Pul; if you want plastic sights, just get a spare set of Glock sights.
Aluminum,
Steel. But expect to pay about $175.00 - $200.00. Troy Industries makes good sights.
