Welcome aboard!

I know it's probably not :mrgreen: what you intended, but your screen name brought to mind "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" by T.S. Eliot.

"Macavity, Macavity, there's no one like Macavity,
For he's a fiend in feline shape, a monster of depravity."

One of my all-time favorite books of narrative poetry.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

That's one I have not heard before. :thumbs2: Too bad the opposite is what we have allowed to be the case.

Be proud of your Eagle Scout Badge. Do something w/ that. It is a great accomplishment & also a great example to the younger generation.

In line with your, "Keep it simple" thinking...I'd recommend something like mine. IMO they just take up space that many don't read anyway. I know I don't.

Why stick with one? Change it periodically and cycle through some of your favorite quotes.
Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you. -St. Augustine
We are reformers in Spring and Summer; in Autumn and Winter we stand by the old;
reformers in the morning, conservers at night. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Welcome aboard! My hubby and I are also college students (should be seniors, but took a year off before returning to complete our degrees) so I think it's especially cool to have you here. :) My hubby is also an Eagle Scout. If you live in Grayson County, let me know and we could go shooting together sometime.

As far as your signature goes...change it as often as you like. Many people like quotes, and the ones you listed in your original post are good. Your signature reflects something about YOU, so you'll need to be the one who chooses it!

Again, welcome...hope to see you around! :tiphat:
