Massage anyone?
So, I am about to get my first massage since getting my CHL. Any of you out there get massages regularly? It is not posted and I would rather not leave it in the car. But I don't know how comfortable I would be leaving it buried in my stack of clothes out of my reach and control. So I guess the car makes the most sense.

Re: Massage anyone?
I put mine, holstered, inside my jeans & fold/roll the jeans up. I put my keys & belt atop the pile of clothes. In the limited confines of a massage room, it'd be hard for the RMT to leave your table and dig through the pile without making keys & belt buckle jingle. I'm comfortable that I'd be able to tell that something's up.

Re: Massage anyone?
If it was out in your car wouldn't it be even further out of your reach and control? Since you don't get undressed right in front on the massage therapist I'd just fold it up in my clothes. I usually just pocket carry and leave it in the pocket.
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

Nice one! That wouldn't be odd at all!

I know lots of people don't like them, but a fanny pack works great for that or a visit to the doctor's office and such.

Re: Massage anyone?
I get a weekly massage at Massage Envy. My massage therapist knows I CCW, and she grew up around guns. It's no big deal to her. There's a little shelf unit in the corner next to where I hang my clothes. I just set my gun on the shelf and cover it with my hat. She knows it's there, and she doesn't care.terryg wrote:So, I am about to get my first massage since getting my CHL. Any of you out there get massages regularly? In all liklihood, it won't be the first gun your therapist ever saw. Don't sweat it unless...you want to sweat it.

Not in my case, but them mine are doctor ordered. If you doctor ordered it, perhaps Medicare would cover it, but I don't really know.Oldgringo wrote:In all liklihood, it won't be the first gun your therapist ever saw. Don't sweat it unless...you want to sweat it.

Re: Massage anyone?
Mine is put in my purse under my clothes during the massage. This is still in the same room and i can see it at all times. My masseuse knows i carry anyway, so it's not a problem. The girl at the front desk carries too. Gotta love Texas!

Re: Massage anyone?
Forget massage I wanna know what you all do with it when you get a chiropractic adjustment. Laying on it won't be comfortable. Also in that situation I do not strip for that
