Tuscon Shooting

Post by rdcrags »

First: Heartfelt sympathy for the families and friends of the dead and injured. Been watching the news off and on all day. Waiting to hear the suggestion for all States to revert to New York type gun control to "get the guns off the streets". Heaven help us.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims family and friends, the State of Arizona and all 2A believers.

But I have to ask the question and if it is too soon, just delete it.

Arizona has CHL and in late 2010 passed a non permit concealed carry for those 21 and over. Law Enforcement was obviously no help but what about CC folks, were there none or did this event fall under one of the places you cant carry due to the political nature? I do not think it would.

I cannot imagine being at this event with my family and not reacting to the situation. There may not have been the opportunity given the high capacity mags available and the time it takes to empty one. This whole event could have lasted 10-15 seconds. But, what if....thoughts?
