Mother Kills Teenage Children - FL

Another incident where it sounds like someone needed mental help. This will be more fodder for the antis.

The woman allegedly confessed to the officers there that she had shot her 13-year-old son and then her 16-year-old daughter because they were "mouthy."

The kids were "mouthy", the mother of the teens is 50 and the gun was bought 5 days ago. :headscratch

There's a lesson here for somebody, I just can't quite figure out who. Any ideas...anybody?

I guess that mon had mental issues and was hauled to the hospital. Shooting your kids because they are mouthy? How about old fashion Texas discipline?

One report I read on the Clinton News Network (CNN) said she bought the gun to kill the kids and then herself. I'm by no means a legal analyst but doesn't premeditation almost always kill an insanity defense?

It's evidence against a temporary insamity defense but not at odds with being full time insane.
