You might ask at "A TEXAS GIRL'S GUNS" in Leander.
She'll do any paperwork etc I believe. You can Google their website/hours.
I doubt you'll ever find a used one, but that's where you need to look for new or used.
Not too many people buy one then sell it.

The Shorty's not Class III. It's AOW. $5 tax stamp...RPB wrote:Probably need to find a class 3 NFA dealer in Austin/Round Rock.loadedliberal wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0WuWNLw ... re=related

Bets bet is to find one online or use your local dealer and have him/her order one for you.
It's about $750 and worth it. Such a fun toy.

If it's an AOW it falls under the National Firearms Act like a MG or SBR. The tax is cheaper for an AOW but it requires all the same paperwork, etc.pbwalker wrote:The Shorty's not Class III. It's AOW. $5 tax stamp...
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
Re: I want a sebu super shorty
But is it a Class III weapon? It was my understanding that while both fall under the NFA, there is a difference between Class III and AOW. Or is Class III an all encompassing term for anything regulated by the NFA? I've always seen MG's, SBR's, and Mufflers listed as Class III, but AOW's listed as something different. I'd love to know either way if anyone can weigh in on this!Ameer wrote:If it's an AOW it falls under the National Firearms Act like a MG or SBR. Class III is actually the term for FFL's licensed to sell NFA weapons. SBRs, SBSs, Silencers, Suppressors, Machine Guns, Destructive Devices, and AOWs are all NFA firearms, also known as Title II firearms.pbwalker wrote:But is it a Class III weapon? On the OP, a guy at the High Cal Gun show usually has a Serbu SS for around $750.00. I have not shot one, but I have handled a couple and they just feel "right".

Thank you Carry-a-Kimber and Speedsix! That actually cleared up quite a bit for me.
