No, the page is there alright. This story is troubling.

There are inconsiderate and rude people in every line of work. The fact that this a federal employee paid by our tax dollars makes it more upsetting.

That TSA agent strikes me as the kind of guy who attends family reunions in order to meet women.

I travelled back from Chicago last week -- noticed that the only people being routed through the porno machines were the good looking women.

This is nothing new. Around Thanksgiving a pilot was bringing his teen-aged daughter on a trip and as they approached the scanner the guy working it says into his microphone to the person in the isolated room who views the scans "got a cutie for you".
The pilot was not amused.

All right all you legal eagles. If this really were to happen couldn't that TSA agent be charged with sexual harassment? And for the coup de gras, sexual harassment of a minor?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

The issue is that since it is a federal employee on the job, I believe he would have to be charged in federal court. The feds tend to protect their own. I also don't know if a Bivens action would be successful with the facts as they stand now (ie her rights weren't violated enough).
Now if he were able to be charged in state court there would be a much better chance of success. From what I hear, most airport LEOs (who are usually local, not federal) would love to have a chance to testify against most TSOs.

Re: TSA pat-down agent hollers: 'Hey, I thought she was mine
Well, I'm going to get the chance to experience the FULL attention of the TSA at Hobby this coming Friday...
I know for a fact that even when I am in full compliance to the stowage and requirments to declare a firearm in my "checked" bag...I will be subjected to the full force of the TSA for doing so...
I expect to fill out the form, the gun will be fondled and waved around the ticket counter like some sort of toy...I will then be x-ray'd, metal detected, back-scattered, and subjected to an intrusive enhanced pat down before I am allowed to pursue life, liberty and happiness...Then I'm sure I'll ge the same treatment on the way back...
I will not opt out, I will not protest, and if it gets to be too intrusive or stupid for that matter, I guess I might file a complaint to the TSA when I get back...
But I might have an ace in the hole...I expect to have a little bit of time to consume a very potent Tex-Mex lunch before I get to the airport...
But hey...I didn't make the rules...

The procedure at Hobby are the most painless I've encountered anywhere for checking firearms. You sign the form, put it in the gun case, relock it and your suitcase, and it gets sent down the chute with the rest of the baggage. IAH on the other hand is a total pain for checking firearms--you have to wait for an agent to come over from another terminal (sometimes takes half an hour), and they then do a VERY thorough hand check of your bag, including inside the gun case.stevie_d_64 wrote:Well, I'm going to get the chance to experience the FULL attention of the TSA at Hobby this coming Friday...

I don't know how the TSOs at the gate would even know you are checking a gun--the declaration form isn't linked to your boarding pass in any way (not that TSA even scans your boarding pass; they're just checing that you have one), and sometimes you don't even get a chance to talk to a ticket agent to declare your gun until after your luggage tag and boarding pass are printed.
