WTB Browning Buckmark Pistol

Post by pops1982 »

Looking to purchase a Browning Buckmark Pistol .22LR. Would prefer one with flat sides on the barrel and with a fiber optic front sight but will consider any model. 5.5" barrel length a must. This one would be perfect. Please email or pm with any offers.

Thanks for the heads up but I'm going to hold out for a while for the stainless, slab sided model w/ the fiber optic front
site. Actually might have found one in the classified on another board, waiting for a reply from the seller.

Can't say if Academy would have the pistol you want in stock, but it's been my experience that their inventory system is not good and I always end up visiting several different stores. I have a couple of Camper's in stainless with the finger grove grips and I paid 279.99. I've seen the flat sided models but I don't recall the price. Don't depend on them to call another store for you. I looked at one at a store for the model I wanted and they only had the display; it was missing the magazine. I offered them the price less the cost of a magazine but they wouldn't do it. I then suggested taking the magazine from another pistol -- no go. They called another store that supposedly had the pistol in stock. I drove there and no gun. I ended up going to the third store and they had it at an even better price. If you can put up with their long purchase process it may be worth a try.

I have one with the hi-viz sites. Great gun. I ended up red dotting it though. I like it even better now.

Yeah, I guess I will have to visit a few of the Academy Stores around here and just see what they have. Not wanting to sell one of yours, huh?
Thanks, Dean

That's nothing like the one in the original picture. I have never owned a pistol with a scope, but nothing says you can't have both.

That is one thing I noticed when I was looking for my Sig P239. There were so many different variations that I never could find the exact one that I wanted. As I said, you can buy this one and keep looking. Can you at least get a dealer to order one for you?

:thumbs2: Congratulations. I hope you enjoy it. Out of curiosity why did you choose this over the Browning Buck Mark 22 SE MS STD URX? This one has the slabside barrel.
