1911 Shoulder Holsters

Post by 74novaman »

I have IWB and OWB carry options for my 1911s, and figured I'd like to round out my carry options with a shoulder holster. (Only option I won't have then is a thigh holster, but I'm not very tacti-cool so thats okay).

I was looking at a cheap one that has decent reviews on midwayusa. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=333633

Any one used one or heard any negatives/positives?

Do you really need to go into the 130+ dollar range like this to get a workable shoulder holster? http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/de ... ber=986559

Thanks for any thoughts/experiences you have with either of these holsters or shoulder carry in general. :thumbs2:

You'll get what you pay for.

Before buying a shoulder holster read every word of this:

And you should DEFINITELY read this thread http://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=31470" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; by Flint and Longtooth. Shoulder holster carry is different and requires a totally different method for drawing to make sure are doing it safely.
