I was pretty certain I knew what the D meant, but the BR had me baffled.

I do have a question though. Just went to Academy to look at ammo and noticed some significant price differences. What do you recommend just for shooting around? They had Moarch Steel for about $8 for 20 rounds up to some Hornadty for about $20 for 20 rounds.

I have a lead on a used Eotech setup and was going to put some Magpul backup folding sights.

I didn't feel the price was too bad. I picked that one up for $950. With this being my first black rifle, it was worth a little extra to me just for the peace of mind knowing that if I had trouble with it I could take it somewhere and get some help.

What do you recommend just for shooting around?

Walmart has federal value pack ammo 55gr fmj brass. 100 rounds for $40. Best price for the quality of ammo around. I refrain from buying ammo at academy due to prices being higher than at other places where it's readily available.

Go to the GRB gun show and pick up some HSM ammo.
