Man...it seems like it was just yesterday!

Hello and welcome all. Right now you may be wondering if your CHL is ever going to arrive. It will before you know it. Most of you folks are waiting far less time frames than just a couple years back. Posters here use to get irritated by waiting six months and longer while watching a few lucky posters posting about receiving CHL's in 60 days. Most waited 4 - 6 months. Some even longer. Try not to let the wait make you crazy. I use to camp out by the mail box...LOL.

Instant gratification has spoiled us all :)

I did my application online, but I was one of the last groups to use fingerprint cards. Digital fingerprints became a requirement on March 1st, and I took my class on Feb 27th. Hopefully the new technology will make applications breeze through even faster. I just hope I don't get caught in the leaning curve!

I agree with that. You should go back and read some of the posts in this forum from mid 2008. We were all wigging out...LOL. If a person was processed in 90 days we all wondered who paid off who.

I did the digital prints when I got my CHL. It seemed like the folks who did ink seemed to have problems more often than digital folks. Good luck to you. Your real close to that deadline. Hopefully they don't come back and reject your prints. If it were me, I would be tempted to check into it before waiting two months and finding out the hard way. Maybe it isn't a good idea to do this. i dunno. Maybe ask your instructor about it.

113 days for mine. I was actually surprised it didn't take longer at the time. The real wait was at the mailbox.

My son took his class in Houston. He got caught up in that "hurricane delay". It took him more than six months. It might have been eight. I forget now but many folks from your area had the same fate.
