my bug out bag:

Post by willieb »

Had this idea a few weeks ago...needed to be discreet when traveling to my sons home in San Antonio.... I think this fits the bill...it is a drop bottom 30 inch duffel bag..which serves as my bug out bag..yes, it's filled with all the necessary essentials in case of an emergency situation..plus a little extra...hope you enjoy...sorry about the sideways pic...not savy enough to get them turned...but i think you will get the idea...Sig 556 patrol version....sig pro 2022 9mm...

That is what I'd call a travel bag.

Nice :thumbs2: I’ve always felt food, water and shelter were over rated for a BOB myself.

Overrated how?

A good BOB will be for 72 hour use. MRE's and a few bottles of water only. An emergency blanket or poncho and paracord work for a temporary shelter in a 72 hour bag. Anything beyond 72 hours should be evaluated against a bug-in or bug-out plan. If you have some bug-out-land, stockpile as much out there as you can, and a good way to get there in the event of an emergency.

That's identical to the bag I use for my motocross gear. Great idea! Thanks

Needs more ammunition.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

If society breaks down, I plan to survive by taking away other peoples BOB's. They won't see me coming either. :biggrinjester:
