SB354- Insurance Claim proved bogus- actionable?

So Ellis claimed that insurance rates could/would go up with passage of SB 354 and this cause Wentworth to lose support - correct?

Yet Students for Concealed Carry on Campus has done excellent legwork and essentially dis-proven this claim.

Armed with the facts, can we not re-pressure Gallegos and others to get back on board? Is it to late to pass the bill as a bill (instead of an amendment) now that Ellis' claims are proved false?

Well, his claim might not be true, but it has 'truthiness.' That's enough for a lot of people!

Yesterday morning, I faxed copies of the SCCC facts about insurance rates to every Senator (including Gallegos) who has not voted for SB354 or the various amendments to SB 5 .... they still haven't voted for it.
