Photos, Fingerprints and Test Scores

Post by feltoncorbett »

Two questions for anyone willing to jump in.
First: What is the minimum passing score for the written part of the CHL class for students.
( I know the shooting is 75% for students)
Second: When RENEWING a CHL does the student have to send new photos and fingerprints with his Packet? The state web site has three places that speak about fingerprints and photos and renewals and all are contradictory.
Thanks in advance for reading and answering.

Both tests have a 70% passing score. Renewals don't need new biometrics any more.
When in doubt
Vote them out!

Agreed, the process is more streamlined now, but some of what they still have in writing is contradictory and confusing.

Until DPS does ever get around to using the photo on peoples Driver's License, I am still offering renewal students a no-cost option of a new photo, with such even more strongly recommended for anyone who was wearing eyeglasses in their last one.
