On June 12, President Obama will award US Army Ranger SSG Leroy Arthur Petry the Medal of Honor for gallantry in action against the enemy in Afghanistan, during which action he lost his right hand. SSG Petry will become the second living recipient of the Medal of Honor since Vietnam, and the 9th recipient overall from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As the media seems to not care, I wanted to give this soldier his due and inform those I could.
