I try to make it a point to thank LEOs when I get the chance. The one time in my life I was pulled over was in Brown county and the deputy seemed almost shocked when I thanked him even after handing me a 200 dollar ticket (I got a heavy foot) There are too many people out there who don't show cops the respect they deserve for putting them selves in harms way for the good of society. 99.9 percent of them are great citizens who do outstanding work yet because of the .01 there are some that think no cops deserve respect.
