This is the perfect scope for a QCB AR-15, the knob on the top is already indexed for the NATO FMJ and Penetrator rounds at 100, 200, 300, 400 etc for both. As far as optics go, I actually used it as a telescope for the last lunar eclipse and it was brighter and clearer through the scope than it was without (talk about shooting the moon *bum bum crash*)
