is lady gaga's concert at Toyota center off limit?

Post by Stupid »

Maybe I was not paying attention bit I didn't see now signs. So is the concert ok to carry? Is it considered "sporting event?"

Would the sport be to see who can take it the longest? "rlol"
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

As much as It would be beating the heck out of my ears I think it's considered a boxing match and would therefor be a sporting event.

Hey, you leave Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta alone. I think she's very talented, and I like her music. I'm an old coot, but my musical taste currently runs the gamut from "Dance" (Gaga- "Edge of Glory"), to Country (Ronnie Dunn - "Bleed Red," and, Sugarland - "Tonight"), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) and many other genres. I was raised on Rock 'n Roll of the '50's and '60s, and everyone with some age on them back then had the same negative things to say about Elvis and the rest of the artists. She's just Madonna on steroids after all

I have pretty broad taste in music but my hat is off to you.

There have always been freak show entertainers that push the limit of sensibility and morality and I had my moments in my yout where I appreciated extrteme behavior.

I have found that as I grow older the limits are stretched more and more and my tolerance of crap grows thin.

Would I go to one? No, I do not care for their politics. Entertainers need to perform and keep their world views private.

Can you carry at a U2 concert? Is it in a government owned venue? It isn't a sporting event. There is alcohol served but I doubt the venue is a 51% establishment.

hmmm, I bet it's 30.06, but double check....

as for the concert...eh, the music isn't the worst, some of her stuff have some cool beats, but I wouldn't last 5 mins with my migraine tendencies. have fun.

I have no problem with Elvis, and I get it that his "gyrations" were controversial in his day; but Madonna, Brittany Spears, "Lady" Gaga.........what is it about some girls that they think they have to act like whores in order to sell their music? Sure, Elvis marketed his sensuality and animal magnetism, but it would have never occurred to him to prance around in his underwear, or mimic sex on stage. Seriously. I've been a guitar player for 48 years. It's not like I don't understand music. In their most quiet moments, particularly late in their careers, do these women question the effect they had on our daughters? I don't think they do, because everything they do and stand for is about worship of self without consequence.

Gaga has a great voice, and there is no doubt that "Edge of Glory" is one of the anthems of the day, but I cannot stand to watch her. It's like watching porn, and frankly, it's disgusting.

I guess I'm just an old poot.
