Maybe I was not paying attention bit I didn't see now signs. So is the concert ok to carry? Is it considered "sporting event?"

I'm an old coot, but my musical taste currently runs the gamut from "Dance" (Gaga- "Edge of Glory"), to Country (Ronnie Dunn - "Bleed Red," and, Sugarland - "Tonight"), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) and many other genres. I was raised on Rock 'n Roll of the '50's and '60s, and everyone with some age on them back then had the same negative things to say about Elvis and the rest of the artists. She's just Madonna on steroids after all
I have pretty broad taste in music but my hat is off to you.G26ster wrote:Hey, you leave Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta alone. I think she's very talented, and I like her music. Would I go to one? No, I do not care for their politics. Entertainers need to perform and keep their world views private.Stupid wrote:Come on guys. How about U2 concert?
I have no problem with Elvis, and I get it that his "gyrations" were controversial in his day; but Madonna, Brittany Spears, "Lady" Gaga.........what is it about some girls that they think they have to act like whores in order to sell their music? Sure, Elvis marketed his sensuality and animal magnetism, but it would have never occurred to him to prance around in his underwear, or mimic sex on stage. Seriously. I've been a guitar player for 48 years. It's not like I don't understand music. In their most quiet moments, particularly late in their careers, do these women question the effect they had on our daughters? I don't think they do, because everything they do and stand for is about worship of self without consequence.G26ster wrote:Hey, you leave Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta alone.
