I have to say I'm a Winchester fan. Always have been. But that Marlin is an awesome looking rifle. I surely do wish I had the money for it. Likewise for the 10/22. The Mauser is a very nice looking classic. Could you put a scope on the Marlin?

Oh man, I just bought a Mauser (and for a bit more than you're selling yours for) or I'd jump on it.

Go for it. It looks like it already has a rail.

I am located in Houston. And yes the Marlin can have a scope mounted on it.

Free bump for some really nice guns! I have a 10/22 in stainless/synthetic and a Marlin 1895 Guide gun in 45/70. Seems we both have good taste! "rlol"

Quick question for you...is a 16" barrel considered a SBR? I was told once that they had to be at least 16.5" unless you pay a tax or something. No pot stirring here, just an honest question.

SBR is less than 16"

The Marlin is not an SBR, the work was done by Herman Mueshke in the Heights. He wouldn't lay a finger on it if it wasn't a legal thing to do. He is one of the best gunsmiths in Houston IMO. I hope that cleared up any other questions on this NFA matter. Both are still available.
