To make this section of the forum more useful, I'd like to start a little project to provide links to information to travelers going to all states that border Texas. I've got New Mexico handled (I'm a NM CHL instructor). I'll work on this in my spare time, but if anybody already has links to the other states' resources, please reply and I'll add them to this post. Once we've got it all together, I'll take this top paragraph off and ask one of the mods to make it a sticky.

When looking up states, I like to use two primary sources: Handgunlaw.us and NRA-ILA Gun Laws.

Although well intentioned, I believe this is a waste of your time. You could get it developed and then spend ALL of your time trying to keep it updated with all the States changes as they occur.PracticalTactical wrote:To make this section of the forum more useful, I'd like to start a little project to provide links to information to travelers going to all states that border Texas. If you are not committed to that then the whole exercise would be totally useless.

Nope.
Although I will say that I made a mistake and did not realize that you were going to work with bordering States only.
But, I stand by what I said. Why try to reinvent the wheel with something that changes frequently and already has reliable, OFFICIAL information available elsewhere.

Re: Bordering States Travel Links
People ask a lot of questions on here about travel, so it makes sense to provide links (to official sources when available) to answer the questions.
