Recluse pocket holster for my LC9!

No way it's printing or shifting. Easy to draw from and very secure. The build quality is fantastic. Loving it! I have quite a 'collection' of pocket holsters and this is the best by far.

On a side note, why does gun leather smell so good? Maybe its just me.

Most any leather smells good to me, and always has. I used to love going to the Tandy store just because of the smell. Tack/Saddle shops are the same in that regard.

I'm assuming the open end goes against your leg? Interesting design.

That's the idea. There is a foam/rubber trigger block that not only immobilizes the trigger but it also anchors the weapon to the holster.

How easy is it to re-holster in your pocket? Looks like yoiu might have to remove the hoster and gun to put them back together.

Doesn't seem too easy to re-holster. Could be an issue for some. I however don't think re-holstering would be much on my mind if I had to skin it. You can easily slide the gun back in next to the holster if you simply needed an emergency re-holster.

This one looks nicely made, but doesn't pass my basic design criteria.

Holsters that don't fully cover the trigger guard on both sides give me the willies and aren't found in my holster box.

Yes, I concur.

Certainly not or all. I was finding my index finger was frequently 'tickeling' my trigger as I coaxed my ruger out of my nemisis. The trigger block on the recluse forces my finger along the slide.

Ok, I see the trigger block now. It still makes me cringe to think that it is not completely covered. But I will hold judgement until I see one in person.

I saw the trigger block, but it appears to me that pressure against the grip from the covered side (like a bump against a table, chair, or other object) could dislodge the trigger from the block. I see nothing to stop that from happening. That would leave a loaded gun with an uncovered trigger floating around in the pocket.

That's way outside my comfort zone. YMMV.

I suppose that could happen. I do use the thumb safety and I wear somewhat tight jeans most of the time. I feel I will be ok, but you do make valid points. I will say that it is a pretty stiff little bugger and the trigger block is an odd rubbery foam substance which is also pretty stiff, it provides a good 'pop' into place. I feel secure with it.
