Academy has the Ruger 22/45 for about $330 + tx, new.
I have one and love it, wouldn't sell it, unless i was paid enough to go buy a new one LOL
and most people who have these, probably feel the same way.

Also try your pawn shops, the one near my house had for about 3 months, and they asked too much, but they will haggle if it has been there a while

Follow the high caliber gun shows in our area at http://www.texasgunshows.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. you can find a lot of the polymer frame ruger mkIII pistols for around 250 or a tad bit less, depending. You can find some of the nicer ones with wood grips for 300 or a tad more. Then there's always the smith and berreta .22 models that are even cheaper. But I wouldn't expect anyone to want to sell a .22 with the cost of ammo these days and the availability of them at the already cheap prices. I personally just came home with a browning buckmark with cocobolo grips, too sweet of a plinker to even concider a trade off. Hope this helps.
