MAYBE. They should nominate a true conservative BUT if they're going to nominate a big-government socialist, Clinton has the best chance of beating Obama.

Clinton 2012

Post by tacticool »

Over some cold adult beverages, a bunch of us were talking about the current crop of possible GOP candidates. Somebody suggested that the Republicans should court Hillary Clinton to switch parties. She's not much to the left of Romney, all things considered, and she could gain votes from many Democrats who supported Obama in 2008 but are now disappointed. What do you guys think?

Republican candidate? You're joking, right?

To come up with that, it must have been quite a few adult beverages. It would be one thing for her to run as a Democrat but as a Republican?

Then again, it isn't like she would be the first RINO. :banghead:

Sure, I'd vote for her....right after........... (think cold in a hot place)

That was one of the main points in the discussion. The biggest difference between Clinton and Romney that we could see was that she has a better chance of beating Obama.

I would really like the Republican Party to nominate a fiscal conservative but the rigged nature of the Republican primaries (not allowing all states an equal voice by voting at the same time) seems to knock out the good candidates by the time Texans get a voice. Is that coincidence or by design?

OP, for the love of all things holy, stop what you are doing right now, and IMMEDIATELY call 911, as you are obviously undergoing some kind of severe traumatic medical condition impacting your ability to think!

You should consider giving up the adult beverages and find some new friends!

If this happened and she was elected, it would truly be the end of the USA as we know it.

For the OP, I have some questions:
1) Did you experience a headache/throbbing in yoir head right before you submitted this post?
2) Any weakness to one side of your body?
3) Do you have a Lop-sided smle?
4) Did you notice, at any time, the smell of burnt toast?

All of these are a sign of a stroke. That could be an explanation to the post.
