New CHL-8
Maybe I am the last to notice, but there is also a new CHL-8. I normally print off of the PDF file on my hard drive or jump drive. I happened to be on a different computer so I went to the DPS website and TADAAAA there's a new one. More changes with no notice.

Carry safe and carry when and where you can. I'm just sayin'.

I'm slow. LOL I saw that post however I did not print out a new one to check it, at the time of that post I thought we were just talking about being able to fax it in now. Oh, and by the way, I tried fro a day to fax to no avail, and Deadra emailed me a another fax number 512-424-7729.

Fax?? You mean one of those machines from the 1980's that print low-resolution images slowly on thermal paper? Got rid of my last one over a decade ago. (Maybe two decades.)

If it's good enough for the DPS, it's good enough for me. Mine is an printer/copier/fax that still works, so why fix it ? AND it uses regular paper. LOL When it dies I'll buy a scanner.

Re: New CHL-8
On the new CHL-8, how do you indicate that a student passed one part of the class but failed the other? On the old form, there was enough room to squeeze in "Classroom-PASS, Proficiency-FAIL." But the new form has a pretty small PASS/FAIL block.

I haven't seen the older form, but the CHL 8 that they're requiring us to use works just fine for me. I've faxed a few, but I'm starting to just scan and email it.
