shelter-in-place; Policeman on campus
September 30, 2011
A gunman, who turned out to be a harmless policeman, was spotted last night around 1:30 a.m. with a gun in a holster. Students raised the alarm that there might be a gunman on campus and the Department of Public Safety took action by placing all of the campus buildings in a shelter-in-place alert status.

According to a statement by Vice President of Public Affairs, Victor Nakas, the policeman was seen inside Centennial Village.

:banghead: Should they call 911 if they see a policeman in uniform? I mean it might be a fake uniform a police impersonator ... I think we should all call 911c every time we see a police car too ... might be fake ... "rlol"

A gun is a gun.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

I know.

I had fun at one "online poll" asking "Should guns be allowed on Campus?"

I was asking everyone if they were voting to disarm campus police, and it was like you could hear their mouths drop as they realized what they just voted for without thinking or reading what the question was ...versus what they thought it meant.

I love how they say "harmless policeman". If this guy (or girl) is supposed to be able to protect me, I don't want them to be "harmless"!!!
