That article sure reads like the newspaper just took the police department press release and printed it. Read the vocabulary -- it sounds like a police report, not journalism.

Also, someone needs to proof-read:
The suspect did display a black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery. The weapon a black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery.

Anyway, language issues aside, I hope they catch the miscreant.
