Thanks for all the kind words. It sure was a great Christmas present. Yesterday was my first day out "packing" and I will tell you it gives new meaning to "visiting the store". I suppose it is something you get used to, but I could swear that everyone there was looking directly at me.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Yeah, like trying to sneak in a parking lot in an M1A1 Abrams!

Hint: Notice people. They are *clueless* to their surroundings. Even your *friends* will probably not notice the new 'bulge' on your side.

Last night in Wally World, I was eyeing a guy that was 'different'. He carried himself erect, and was eyeing people more than a glance.
I got closer, and saw that he was wearing some form of Navy Seals unit jacket. HA!
Forget whether you think that people can see you, practice spotting people like this guy. THEN worry if they can tell that you are packing. ;-)

Congrats! I too recieved my license yesterday. I noticed that the status changed on friday night, and I bet my girl that it would be in that next day. So she left and ran errands and i checked the mail, volia...license. So I'm no out to dinner w/ my sister and neice, and my girl meets up with us and as we are leaving she puts her arm around my waist and.....she puts her hand right on it and didn't even notice!!!!

However, I don't think I acted differently in public...but I sure felt different. I'm finding that I'm looking for holster clips on belts and trying to peak under jackets too.

It is a really good feeling having a gun on you when you are out. Especialy when it is the holidays and the bg's are out on the hunt. The fact that people around you have no clue is just crazy to me.
