CHL class tomorrow
Enough talk and hanging around CC forums. Time to take the CHL class and put my money where my mouth is! Taking it tomorrow at Lucy Creek Arms, about 10 miles N of Lampasas. The paperwork will be in the mail first thing Monday morning.

Good luck
I need to go to Lampasas one of these days to the Nocked and Loaded gun store there and just see what they have, I didn't know it was there until I saw a commercial ... I kept driving all the way to Killeen or Cedar Park every year or so, and they are actually closer.
Website says "gunsmithing services" so maybe I can have them put a front sight on my VD45 Service ... I'
ll give them a call.
Sorry for rambling but thanks for the inadvertent reminder lol

Re: CHL class tomorrow
No problem. I just came from there, in fact. I bought some PMC ammo for my .380. They have a LOT of shooting and bowhunting stuff. Most of the staff are bowhunters. Not a whole lot of reloading supplies, just some powder and some bullets. Probably about 50 -70 handguns on display. All the major brands. Quite a few rifles and shotguns, clay target supplies, camo gear, ice chests, ammo, etc. They have a GREAT collection of custom knives going up to about $750. Probably about half the store is bowhunting stuff, and they have a pro on staff for bow tuning and stringing. Very nice staff, not the jerks you see in a lot of gun shops. Let us know how your visit goes.RPB wrote:Good luck
