Fried used to have a 7Mag & now is looking at the -08. Anyone here have both & oppinions. Brass availability. He will load them.

I have both and like each one. 7mm mag is my Colorado elk gun as it was set up for longer distance shooting. For Tx hunting and varmints I really like the 7mm-08 due to less recoil and ammo price. Don't think you can go wrong with either one, it just comes down to what you use it for. Can't say about brass availibity as I no longer reload. Everyday shooter I would go with the 7mm-08.

I have approx 100 once fired cases for 7mm-08. Winchester nickel plated. (Also a smaller quantity of 300WSM) Drop me a line if interested.

Right now what would you want for the 300wsm??? I have one. Friend is deciding what to buy.
