Huh, if that's how ppl act for a pair of shoes how would they act if food became very scarce and a Govt. truck pulled up with bread and cheese?!?

All I have to say is...WoW...

Too many people don't understand that the reason for the season is not CONSUMERISM, but LOVE recognizing the birth of Jesus Christ.

How many of these folks can actually afford $200 for a pair of sneakers.......without being delinquent on any of their bills or depriving their spawn of books and warm clothing?

They would be upset that all they brought was bread and cheese. Where's the sausage and wine or big macs, fries, and shakes?

For years, I had no desire to own an AR as I felt my security needs could be met by handgun, shottie, and bolt gun.

Then I got stationed in a hurricane zone...

It doesn't take much for a segment of the population to lose their minds, and even if it's a small percentage, that small percentage will still equal hundreds, or thousands, depending on the population density of your living area.

I've got a friend running for Dallas County Commissioner - District 3. He is a 4th generation Baptist preacher and his biggest peeve is government entitlements, he calls it the new slavery. He was disgusted with the section 8 turnout and said, "You can get out of bed at 3 in the morning for a handout but won't line up at a job fair?"
