Reading the article, it appears that the antis ran into to the same kind of a buzz saw that Texas did in trying to pass campus carry.

It always amazes me that no one asks the simple question "what problem are we trying to solve?" If there were a problem, there would be stories of FL's over 1M CCW holders getting out of control in hospitals. There isn't a single reference to such an incident, just the possibility of one. So we'rre are going to pass laws solely on the possibility of something bad happening? That is in contrast to the non-licensed individuals who are already showing up with guns in hospitals and from whom the rest of us need a chance to defend ourselves.

The contrast between TX and FL regarding signs is interesting. They apparently don't have the equivalent of the 30.06 so that nothing the hospitals can do has power over concealed carry.

Just got back from vacation there. The only places a tourist really has to worry about are bars or the bar area of a restaurant.
I believe schools, court houses and professional sporting events are also off limits, but I didn't really check into it since I wasn't doing any of those things.

They can post all the no guns signs they want, but they have no legal standing.

I broke the "Mall Code of Conduct" on several occasions.
