I'm watching the show right now, but I didn't see that. Leonard and Penny are out on a double date with Howard and Bernadette, and Leonard is in trouble for making fun of Penny having consulted a psychic. The previous episode was about Leonard's ice queen mother visiting and didn't have a gun range scene either.philip964 wrote:Tonight on the "Big Bang Theory" the nerd with the glasses took his hot girlfriend who lives across the hall to an indoor pistol range, as her dad suggested that's what she would enjoy doing on a date (nice dad nice girlfriend).
The hot blond (since she is the expert) takes the gun to get it ready for him. She racks the slide forward and back, then inserts the magazine, hits it to make sure it is up and hands it to him. He points the black pistol down at the ground and she kisses him hard.
The gun goes off and he has shot himself in the foot.
It must have been a Glock.
He's going to be ok as the bullet hit the end of his sneaker, requiring a only a bandaid at the hospital.
You must be watching a channel playing reruns. There was a gun range scene where Leonard shot himself in the foot in this week NEW episode on CBS. Totally bogus because Penny racked the slide and then she inserted the mag. There was no ammo in the chamber. The Annoyed Man wrote:I'm watching the show right now, but I didn't see that. BTW, I get a kick out of that show. The characters, Penny excepted, are either grad students or researchers at Caltech, which is where my parents taught for 30 years. Whenever they show the Pasadena City Hall dome in the window of Sheldon and Leonard's apartment, I can tell exactly where their apartment is.
Bingo you win the prize. It was a real surprise to me when it went bang. But you know it is always loaded.JJVP wrote:You must be watching a channel playing reruns. Don't you mean, "Bazinga?"philip964 wrote:Bingo you win the prize...
That's not what they mean by the big bang theory.philip964 wrote:Bingo you win the prize. It was a real surprise to me when it went bang. But you know it is always loaded.
It was so obvious, do you think they did that on purpose, so they could not be sued for showing someone how to really load a semi-automatic?

Just noticed something I had missed. Look at the employee, blue shirt, that is arranging the targets on the back table and then exits the range. He does not have hearing or eye protection.
It looks like a black alloy framed S&W 9mm, like a model 910.MedicMan218 wrote:Looks like I was wrong. Not sure what it is. Cougar?
