One tiny step closer

Post by pmcdn »

I took/passed my CHL class last Saturday 2/18/12, mailed my packet on Wednesday and got my return receipt back today! It is a tiny step, but it is a step forward, nonetheless. It's in their hands now. I imagine TDPS doesn't update the online status right away.

I now begin the exercise of patience.

I started frequenting this site about two weeks ago and really enjoy reading posts on here.

Great site!

Hi David,

Best to let it ride and be optimistic that your application will eventually be processed. Myself, sent the necessary documents on Feb 6th and finally received the first update on the DPS web site on the 24th of February. Bit of a wait but nice to know that my application is being processed. Soon enough you will have your card and this will be behind the both of us, soon.

They had mine about 8 days before they updated anything on the site, sit back and relax, it will be here before you know it. Yes I know, alot easier said than done.
