Another CHL Friendly Establishment

Post by Mel »

Had occasion to visit Caddo Basin Special Utilities District today in Floyd, TX about a new water meter hook-up.
Sign on the door in big white letters saying that CHLs are welcome. Something on the order of "We recognize the second amendment and encourage the legal carrying of handguns." Not the exact wording, but you get the idea.
Above the printing was a silhouette of a pistol with NO diagonal line through it. :txflag: :txflag:

Very nice!
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

More and more people are getting the message. I was on a busniess trip to our Dallas office with my supervisor. From the parking garage to the office is a four block walk through a fairly disreptable area but I'm happy to report it has been cleaned up quite a bit. He inquired on the way to Dallas if I was carrying. Had the feeling he would have been happier if I was. I told him I had thought about it, however I was in compliance because of the companies HR policy. Last trip to dallas I saw in this area a truck being stolen and had called the police.

That is great to hear. Hopefully more businesses follow their lead.

It is useless for the Sheep to circulate petitions calling for universal vegetarianism while the Wolves hold a different opinion.

Thanks for that address. I had already thanked the Lady who waited on me, but this makes sure it gets to management. :tiphat:

Love it. If I ever own a business I will do the same
