"The Geers live in a subdivision tucked away in the rolling hills just outside Weatherford. The Parker County sheriff said for now it appears their home was randomly targeted. But, for Parker County it’s a rare crime, the sheriff said."
Why did the sheriff call it random crime? The crimmials know of the safe? They know the number of people in the house? Alarm system? They were in and out in short period of time. Did they known response time of the sheriff? They planned , surveyed the location and choice a target...

The Sheriff, if quoted correctly, may have been the only one running for the office...if you get my drift?
