Well it's an H&K so he probably made money on the deal... Maybe not his intent but probably. If he didn't what's his name I would love to help liberate some more H&K safe queens...

But why does someone buy a new pistol, and then leave it unfired in their safe for 20 years? I am glad there are people like that around, but don't get it.
IDK either, but my dad's one of those folks. He has a few guns in his safe that he's never fired. I recently had one, a 9mm S&W that I think he's had for at least 15y and thought I'd fired before. However, when I tried to run 50 round through it before returning it to him at least 1/10 rounds failed to eject properly and I had to clear the jam each time. I told him I didn't trust it and he should get rid of it and he told me it might just need some more rounds through it to loosen it up a bit first. When I asked him how long it had been since he'd fired it he told me I was the first. Okay, so maybe I'll put a few more through it for him and see if that helps. He also has a Keltec .40 that he says is his nightstand gun and he's never fired it either. I also don't think he's fired his Benelli pump shotty or his SKS.

Sweet pistol, brand new is a rarity for such pistols.

couple years back I sold probably 75 or so unfired pistols I bought new in the 1980s
I used to collect
1) smallest gun in each caliber
2) highest capacity in each caliber
3) every Glock available to non-LEOs in the USA
4) Every NAA gun model made in all calibers
5) anything I thought was purty
6) all types of derringers

Also any pistol caliber carbine and any "deer rifle" I could make look like what people perceived to be "assault rifles" and any military type "assault rifle" which I could make into/look like, a deer hunting rifle (all unfired, since I don't hunt)

Any I was going to actually SHOOT, I bought two, so one could be unfired
